Licensing, updates and support — the short answers
Most of them are. The open-source templates and starter kits live on GitHub and you can clone them straight away — the card shows "Free" and links to the repository. A few are paid; those show a price and a purchase button instead.
Each template ships with its own README and, where the project is larger, full documentation. If something is broken or unclear, open an issue on the template's GitHub repository — that is the fastest way to get an answer and it helps the next person too.
Paid templates are sold through Polar, which handles checkout, VAT and invoicing as merchant of record. Click "Purchase" on the template page, complete the checkout, and you receive access to the source along with the licence terms shown at checkout.
Each repository states its own licence, and most are MIT — which lets you use, modify and ship the template in personal and commercial projects, including client work. Paid templates come with their own commercial licence; read the terms supplied with the purchase before reselling or redistributing the source.
Yes. Every template is developed in the open on GitHub, so updates, fixes and new features arrive as commits and releases you can pull at any time. Watch or star a repository to be notified when a new version ships.
The Astro templates use Astro with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, usually with DaisyUI and a small amount of React where interactivity is worth the JavaScript. The Laravel starter kits use Laravel with Livewire or Inertia and Vue. Every template lists its exact stack on its own page.
